As an ambassador for Langham Hospitality Group, Lang Lang hosted the Piano Master Class event in Hong Kong on August 2011. The event was a celebration of classical piano music where talented students were inspired by Lang Lang's encouraging critique.

11 year-old Thomas Chan 陳浩彥 won the Gold Award in the National Youth Piano competition last year.
